Discover French theatre through fun
Our 6-week Workshop is now closed but what fun we had!
From getting to know each other, learning how to move in space, project our voice, the first steps to improv, to giving a small (private) performance at the end of it all.
Please stay tuned for other workshops will be organised in the future.
What is it all about:
Our 6-week workshops are designed for beginners as an introduction to French theatre.
This once-weekly session will help you to develop acting skills and enhance your French. You’ll learn the foundations of performance, through a range of different approaches to voice and movement, and you’ll work on texts and short scenes.
There is no public performance at the end of the course but you may be invited to join our cast and/or crew for a Brisbane French Theatre performance.
But really the workshops are about having loads of fun, enjoying our best selection of acting games, and meeting new people in a French environment.
The course is facilitated by our talented Chloe and taught in English and French – however knowing basic French will really help you make the most of it.
