Brisbane Accueil
The mission of Brisbane et Gold Coast Accueil is to welcome, inform and support French speakers and their families settled in Brisbane and surrounding areas. They run a busy and diverse calendar of social activities, including BBQs, ‘aperos’, playgroups, sporting events, cooking workshops, etc. Their jam-packed weekly newsletter, ‘Vivre au Queensland’ is a must-read for anyone interested in participating in French social life and culture in Brisbane.
Alliance Francaise de Brisbane
The Alliance Française, originally founded in Paris in 1883, is a non-profit organisation dedicated to promoting French language and culture outside of France. The Alliance Française de Brisbane, which has been teaching French in Brisbane since 1926, offers tuition services, cultural and social activities, and proudly promotes a number of French cultural events throughout the year including The French Film Festival and Le Festival.
Le Festival
Celebrating the spirit of France in Australia since 2010, Le Festival is a brilliant, annual celebration of French entertainment, food, wine, Bastille Day and so many things that les Francais, francophones and Brisbanites all enjoy.
French Honorary Consulate in Brisbane
The French Honorary Consulate in Brisbane runs a range of consular services to local, French, and international citizens in Australia, including those needing general or specific contacts and information regarding French immigration and visas, economy, culture, sports, education and more.
FACCI
The French-Australian Chamber of Commerce is an independent not-for-profit organisation whose mission is to promote their members and help French and Australian companies succeed through information, networking and business support services.

‘L’Heure francophone’ is a Radio 4BB’s weekly French radio program covering a variety of topics with a contemporary selection of French music. From international current affairs to local Brisbane life, listen to their friendly team of native speakers from all around the world.
RDV Australie
Founded in Australia in 2019 and launched in 2020, Rendez-Vous Australie is a web-magazine designed for French speakers dedicated to Australian news, culture, economy, lifestyle, travel within Australia and abroad.
Matildhe Marseillaise
Since its beginnings in 2017, the Matildhe Marseillaise website has grown to be one of the most comprehensive, bilingual, online resources for all things French and Francophone in Australia.

Pauline Maudy
After a string of successful Australian and international tours, French-born, award-winning singer Pauline Maudy (MZAZA) presents songs from her show, Take Me to Paris – a show inspired by her experience of growing up in two places – as well as some other favourite French songs and original compositions.
Estampa
Brisbane-based world folk jazz band Estampa is rooted in the traditions of French jazz (and Brazilian Bossa Novas), and brings a unique musical experience evoking Parisian laneways. Made up of four diverse musicians, this energetic group will keep you jazzing along, and by the end, leave you feeling like you have just been transported to a 1930’s Parisian jazz club.
Chantefique
Chantefique is supported by Alliance Française and it is Brisbane’s only French-singing choir. It is comprised of people of all ages with varying abilities in French. They are a friendly group, united by their love of music and affection for French culture.
